arafat sunny
arafat sunny can be the next great left arm spinner in our country. at the age of 18 he already has 55 first-class wicket in only 14 matches. he took 6 wicket giving only 50 runs in dhakas match against shylet. he has a promising career and after this yrs national league he maybe start knocking on the selecters door. we should keep our eye on this guy because he has good record in domestic cricket and he also played for u-19 team. i think he can take rafiques place once rafique decide to retire.

enamul will still be there. i said he may replace rafique, he has the potential. we need to groom a spinner to replace rafique so he maybe a good candidate for that position.

Enamul will be in pressure if palyers like Sunny comes up.. So this is a good thing, because when there is competition, then every player will try to keep it up with the recent happenning and try to do better...

Does anyone have Arafat's stats? I'd like to compare his record with other SLAs.

Rafique's proper replacement should have his batting abilities as well.

I have seen Arafat sunny bowl in an Under 13 tournament long time when he played against my school. He was easily the best bowler of the whole tournament. From then on i kept an eye on his performance. He entered first class cricket with a bang. But what i am surprised about is why he has not been in the under 19 team. I feel he can be good competition for enamul, not only because he is a very good spinner, also because he is a handy batsman. An all rounder in the making

looks like arafat sunny has better stats, eh?
this is frustrating - we have so much of what we don't need (you know what i mean) and so less of what we do (batsmen with some grey matter, or bowlers with some speed).

ENAMUL JR. VS. ARAFAT SUNNY
Over: Enamul=594.5 Arafat=408.5
Maiden: Enamul=133 Arafat=102
Run: Enamul=1643 Arafat=1036
Wicket: Enamul=62 Arafat=55
Average: Enamul=26.50 Arafat=18.83
Best Enamul=7-95 Arafat=6-62
5 Wkt: Enamul=5 Arafat=5
10 Wkt: Enamul=1 Arafat=1
SR: Enamul=57.5 Arafat=44.6
Econ: Enamul=2.76 Arafat=2.53
Arafat has Better Strike Rate, Better Average and Better Economy.
But quality of opponents in case of Enamul may be higher than Arafat.
