Odds of JO getting the Back Door into the WC XI?
Tamim hasn't done anything special yet, we have a 2 or3 more Matches before India. I think we play Antigua and Barbuda in a practice match but I'm not sure. Lets say Rajin opens vs NZ and Shane Bond does what what Bond does best and gets his wicket for a duck or under 15.
Then JO gets to play vs Scotland and does a Mehrab Jr 20 of 50, Management and Hablu think JO is best player to open with SN and he gets to play March 17th vs India?
It doesn't sound to crazy to see these chain of events happening?

jabed makes some quick runs then slows down.... kintu egulo to tao parena....

As much as I hate it, he is going to be back. I am sure Tamim will be ready for the world cup, but that being WC 2011, not WC 2007. I want to open with Rajin, or hell, I'll go with TI, but not JO. TI will get out soon, but won't waste ball. JO will not get out and will not score. So, to give aftab and the rest best chances I would rather open with TI, but ideally I would like to see Rajin.

Agree with you. Had enough of JO, no more please.
And a question to the BC members: Why you are crying for JO again? Do you have any long term plan for him? Why you don't wana give few days to Tamim to get settled? If JO plays do you think your lower order will have enough balls to score some runs? Doesn't he eat balls? Think about this.

I still want Tamim to play against India, but if he doesn't perform JO's inclusion would become a reality.

What gives you the idea that JO supporters are increasing? The question of this poll was not "Do you want to see JO against India?".

JO's stock price has been automatically going up with the self-inflicted demise of TI.
He should have really grabbed the opportunity that was presented onto him on the match against Canada and made a name for himself, which Sakib did. He should realise that ALLLLLL he needs to do is to play 1 (ONE) good innings and we all, including the selectors, would put him before anybody...well after SN offcourse..
AND he's bn failing to do so... opportunities doesnt come every day...just ask other TI ( Tusher Imran)...
as much as id also hate to see this happening... im afraid JO is making is case stronger and stronger every match just by warming up his back area on the reserve benches and letting TI doing all the talking for him.

I say the coach, manager and the captain must stick to the gun and let Tamim play against NZ, Scotts, Ind. SL, Bermuda game can be decided later. But suspect buddy Bashar pushing for JO/Rajin.
If they have any brains they won't bring out a new combination for the 1st WC match without match practice.
As for the pole, There should be a 'no' entry.

I want JO to open against India....He will play a significant role in our victory...and once this happens I will take up being a JOTISH as a full time job...I already had predicted the rise of Abir (SN) two years back...lolz...
