Sizzler's, Denny's, School cafeteria, Red Lobster, Chris Ruth Morton (too expensive last one)

T-bone steak

Used to be well done but now I like medium rare. Sides: mashed potato, wild rice pilaf, shrimp scampi skewer, or fries.

Coke.

Anher makes awesome steaks. Mashed potatoes and other vegetables. Had super well done steak once due to a tennis match lasted wee bit longer. Didn't taste bad as we were super hungry too. But he used to make medium steaks. I think he still does.

Great news! they're opening a Fogo de Chao in NYC this winter...unfortunately they didn't have one in the tri state area until now so steak lovers like me would have to drive all the way to Philly to have a taste of the best Brazillian steak.

Eversince I found this thread I decided to try my Sirloins and Ribeyes cooked rare and medium rare and I must admit I became a fan instantly...I like my steaks with minimal seasoning - pinch of salt and cracked pepper only. Nothing like having iftar with high quality steaks cooked just right...

Favorite Cuts: Ribeye, serloin if eating healthy (less fat)

Cooked: medium rare / medium.

Seasoning: peppercorn or some cajun rub (no idea what's in there)

Glaze: No

Favorite sides: Sauteed Marshrooms, Garlic mash potato

BTW surprised there isn't a Fogo in NY, been to 5 different Brazilian places in Chicago.

When I moved back to NY/NJ from Chi town about 3 years ago, I was also quite surprised they didn't have one. Don't get me wrong they do have plenty of Brazillian places around here and some are pretty good but nothing really compares to Fogo...As good as Ruth's Chris steak and Morton's are, they just don't cut it when you're in the mood to glutton on all different kinds of juicy, delicious steak meat in one meal.

Found Texas de Brazil to be quite good, on par with Fogo in my view. My favorite is Chama Gaucha, if you can make it for lunch it's not too bad on the wallet.

^Thanks for the info. Located a Texas de Brazil in Yonkers not too far from me. Will check it out right after fasting month is over.
