Disappointed at him today. He just lost his partner, the ball was swinging around, yet he could not show some restrain to avoid a possible collapse!
I expected to see some maturity from him

^^yes disappointed. I wanted him to bat through out the innings...but he was bringing the first game attitude into this one. Hope he learns from this error

I dont think it was the swing that was the issue. From Nannu;s interview it seemed the wicket was two paced and it was hard for the batsman initially to get the timing right.

Losing the plot aren't you little brother?
Use your head. You are the opener, try to make the most out of that opportunity. Even if you have to bat throughout the innings that's your job. Let Azmir do the tonking.

If he wasn't performing, you wouldn't be seeing this thread.
Another ton for him.
Keep it up Saif.

Leading his team against players who are more experienced and older than them.
Hope this give him confidence in the WC

Those two sixes he hit against Jeevan Mendis were treat to watch. His techniques looked solid even for a Sixes tournament.
WC in NZ will a totally different set up. But grounds in Malaysia, for Asia Cup, will be also small. Hope he will showcase some big hitting there too as well.

This Saif Hassan hype looks all plastic to me, hope he doesn't turn out like another Anamul.

It's okay to unhype. I never backed him to compete in this tournament, but he has a good cricketing brain. Temperament wise. He's a student of the game like Miraz

He was in a dominant mood.
Hope this knock sets the tone for him for the rest of the tournament.
He was explosive at the end.

Should be an exciting year for Saif. The DPL starts right after the U/19 WC. Hope to see him making the HP squad this summer.

After a fine unbeaten double ton...don't rush him into the national team as yet. He still needs to hone his skills. Fine tune em.

Saif was in good form in domestics last year as well, but looked very awkward during U/19 WC in Australia.
I am rather fascinated by Tanzid Tamim and Mahmudul Joy, who have done well in England and NZ.

Saif is probably not far away from a call up-now that he has performed with A Team and NCL.
Seems very likely for Tests, ODI.

Should play in the tests along with Shadman and maybe Yasir Ali. All 3 have good stats in FC unlike jokes like Soumya

Wrong thread. However, for your information - ICC initiated this investigation a year ago, not last week.

We do desperately need a RHB who can bat in the top 3. Personally, I'd like to see a Test lineup of:
Tamim
Shadman
Saif
Mominul
Mushfiq
Mosaddek
Shakib
Nayeem/Miraz
Taijul
Mustafiz/Abu Jayed
Ebadat
Yasir Ali, Khaled Ahmed, Rishad Hossain could be the guys on the bench.
And yes I know Shakib is out for 1-2 years.

Saif is a quality player, not sure how he adapts to pressure of international cricket but I am hopeful he will come good.
I read an article about Saif which says that Saif is interested in performing in the longer format. His performance in list A has been impressive too. 20 years old so can only improve from here onwards
