What this time?
May be Sakib will decide to field first is a batting paradise and NZ score 350?

Good body language. Mental toughness.

Wins will come. We just had a baptism of fire. A one-off match. Let the kiwis gloat over it. I already saw the chink in their armor. Their line-up could be very vulnerable to our pace and spin. You can't get lucky every time. This was such a bad match, we just about made all the errors in the book in one match. It's over now.

Let the real show begin.

We are planning for even bigger prize. We will keep playing like this throughout the ODI series to catch them off guard in the Test match.

Two consecutive away Test series win. WOW!!

Isn't it a great strategy!!!

Here you go than,

Tamim
Roqibul
Ash
Aftab
Sakib
Mahmudullah
Naeem
Mushfiq
Razzaq
Shahdat
Shafiul

Pls no Rubel, he is a very costly bowler. And guiss i honestly think Aftab shouldbe forced to play in onedown. Its a very tricky position to play in and it is too harsh on Aftab as he came back to cricket after soo long. give him some time to settle in and than he can play onedown. I am guesssing that Roqibul is going to be on the squad so why not try opening? he is a defence minded player and he would do fine with an agressive Tamim. It will be a good combo. Some ppl have suggested Mushfiq as opening and i think Roqib is same as Mushfiq when it comes to ODI. Mushfiq can play towards the end to back up a "Dhosh" if it occurs. We need Razzaq. Its clear and its always been that Seamers are no gud for kiwies. Best of luck Tigers. Lets not worry about T20. BD was never gud in it and and its not an important game.

Excellent Post!! I for one hope we at least get one of the ODIs as well.

For BD, one off match is a series (handicap). If we draw then ...

Beyakhub Skhakib spoke too early ....he does not even know his ability and his team on such environment and he made unnessary unrealistic comments before the matches...He could have worded his words to have reasonable expectations...

bangladesh lost to a 2nd tier west indies team in twenty20. they lost to ireland too.

bangladeshi players get very hyped up during twenty20, they get out.

but ODI is different. they play better in ODI i think. tamim needs to make a good score, someone from the middle needs to score some quick runs.

Let's hope that the boys have learnt a bit of a lesson here, and they approach this ODI in a different mindset, that is to play the balls and stay at the wicket.

i am pretty sure if they bat first, they will bat out the 50 overs, dont know how many runs they will score, but hoping for more than 200 runs.

A word of caution fans, expect the unexpected, dont raise your hopes and expectations, or else you will only have heartbreak and frustration.

they need to bat second, if they want to win (i think).

bangladesh does not have a very good pace attack. rubel has pace but he leaks too many runs.

new zealand has a very average team now, bangladesh should not get whitewashed.
