So two dead wood (and the 3rd is in making) in the top 6 batting lineup.
Great !!!! Thats waht I was looking for. And playing against this team B will further force the issue. This time there will be no place to hide and no excuse will cut it.
Its a do or die for these dead woods. And if they fail it will not only be the dead woods but also the coach and the selectors who would fall.
I like it .. I like it.

Let's not get too carried away here folks. Dont forget this is the same Desh that allowed Jason Gillespie to score a double hundred, the same Desh team that lost to Ireland not just in the 20/20 world cup but also in the 2007 world cup and the same Desh team that failed to bowl New Zealand out for under 317 in Chittagong last October.
Never underestimate Desh's ability snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I’m expecting a mauling, nothing less.

a bit surprised to see riyad, but not really.
can't really argue against the XI we've selected, although cases can always be made for enam...hope he gets a go in the 2nd match, preferably against the windies first team
best of luck, bismillah...

so no enam jr? what's the point of having on extra batsman there. if six batsman can't get the job done, will that other batsman really make a difference?

I tried that SPVOD link, can't access it from UK. Tried changing my IP address using some dodgy softwares, and I get some warnings not to abuse something. And moreover, still that SPVOD thing doesn't work.

Against this weaker WI, I would have liked Enamul to play. The team packed with batsmen is OK against full WI team. But against this team, we should have gone for another bowler. We need to take 20 wickets to win the match.
