Ditto here
I thought they wouldn't pick him, that's the way the IPL operates. It's got nothing to do with performance, all about the theatre. So much for tamim doing everything and everything falling into place
Hope PWI get crushed
In fact I don't think Tamim or shakib would get a decent go wherever they played. Same with doeschate-the guy has been the most consistent performer with the bat for KKR

Who cares for PWI/KKR anyways? All we care for are our players Tamim/Shakib....if they gets selected....we cheer for PWI/KKR if they don't....boo!!
I know it hurts, but there's nothing else to be done....

They've surpassed KKR which is why I'm worried. They might get into triple figures with the form of Uthappa and the "anchor role" SPD smith was chosen to carry out it seems

Dinda is the best pacer in India. Case closed. Please don't argue.

I thought Pune took 1 too many foreign middle order batsmen. Smith and Samuels proved to be effective but not Ferguson. So hopefully they decide to give Tamim a chance but he's going to have to go up against Ryder.

Deja Vu post. One Match does not make a pauper.
I told you guys that Dinda is the best pacer at the moment in India as per Ganguly. He has a phenomenal domestic record, I think like 59 wickets in 9 matches this season, of which 22 came in the Dulip Trophy in 3 matches.

How can you be so sure of this type of what-if analysis? I don't get it. You are a bit too hyperbolic.

Ask Tamim to seek advise from Dada, even-though Tamim is good he can learn how to convert his 50s to 100s. Sourav is one of the best Captain we had. MSD is a fantastic captain but Dada can produce miracles from nothing as he has shown today where he is given a free hand in captaincy (unlike KKR )

This is why the league is losing viewers.
People wanna see proper crickets play cricketers. We don't care about your after parties, and ****.
What a corrupt and disgraceful league this is. Player merit has no value at all.
Just have a western passport, and you've got yourself a spot.
BCCI and all of its affiliates are a joke.

I guess Steve Smith has secured his spot in the team. Same as Marlon Samuels. I guess Wayne Parnell will stay in the team also.
The way Tamim can get into the team is if he replaces Callum Ferguson. But Jesse Ryder will also fight to get into the team.
I still dont understand why Wayne Parnell was batting at no. 3.

PW have won on the back of their good bowling but their batting wasn't that encouraging.
Its just the first game and they also need to be find the right combination.
Ganguly expressed the need for a stronger top order in the post match ceremony.
We might see Tamim from the very next game.

Ha! Ha!! Joto dush, nondo ghush!!!
Regarding Tamim's selection, BCCI has no business here. It's Pune management who picked up their playing XI, not BCCI.
As a fan, we have every right to be upset. But, we can't blame BCCI or India for what Jodu or Modhu does, or can we?
And Tamim could have scored a golla or so too, no?
