Bangladesh: Odds 250-1 to Win World Cup\' 07
According to a report published in BBC, Bangladesh’s odds for winning 2007 world cup is 500-1. Zimbabwe and Kenya both have better chance of winning world cup with 250-1 odds. Even tough Bangladesh’s chances are reported lower than that of Zimbabwe and Kenya, but the report regarded Bangladesh highly compared to the other two:
“Bangladesh, Kenya and Zimbabwe qualify automatically but none are likely to progress as far as the second round. Zimbabwe have lost 29 of 33 ODIs since captain Heath Streak's sacking, their team now woefully inexperienced. Kenya beat Zimbabwe twice recently in the 2003 World Cup semi finalists' first ODI series in three years. Bangladesh is the dark horses of the three, having proved against Australia last year they can upset anyone.
Here are the odds for all teams in WC World Cup:
Australia: 2-1
England: 5-1
Pakistan: 6-1
South Africa: 7-1
India: 7-1
New Zealand: 10-1
West Indies: 10-1
Sri Lanka: 14-1
Zimbabwe: 250-1
Kenya: 250-1
Bangladesh: 500-1
Holland: 1000-1
Scotland: 1000-1
Ireland: 1000-1
Canada: 1000-1
Bermuda: 2000-1

Why does SL rank that low? didn't they beat SA and Aus in VB series?
Funny seeing Zim and Kenya having better odds than BD. No respect. I like it. One more bulletin board material for the team.
