I liked the goal of PJ Sung against Greece and Heinz goal against Nigeria

For such a superb player, Messi was disappointing in front of the goal. I think he is a real talent and hope that the glimpse we saw here would be only a start.

That left-footer curler of Messi that the Nig GK just tipped over. The shot was done as if I was playing PS3 and pressed L1 + the circle. It was such a shot.

The save was smart too.

serbia had some good free kick plans but did not came off

the nigerian GK was awesome otherwise it could have been 6-0

I liked Oozeil of Germany. Never heard about him before. Germany actually got a decent lineup with very good combination of oldies and youngies.

should be the only nigerian player to be considered for an europe club move and Israel doesnt count (which is where he plays)...

i didnt know Blanco is still part of the squad.... I remember seeing him in the 98 WC and wow it has been 12 years.... but it was good seeing him match fit still....

hmm somehow missed his substitution in the first game.
But age is definitely catching up.... he was finding it hard to make off the ball movements and hence wasnt moving much....

Ljubijankic(servia) goal against USA was great. It is the first goal(non-free kick) in the tournament from outside of D-box.
Donovan's goal was good too.

prior to the 2nd Slovenia goal....... there was a last ditch clearance by a serbia defender from donovans feet .............
