England could have win this cup easily if they had better middle order. They rely too much on DJ Bell-Drummond & BT Foakes, who is the main strenght of their batting and if they fail(just like they did against Aus), it would be very easy for top teams like Ind, Pak, Sa, WI and even US to bundle them below 150.

If fast bowling doesn't get wickets that is of no use. The faster they come in today's dead pitches, the faster those balls go to the boundaries. Signed Tait/Johnson.

Learn from McGrath. Just a slight movement (two to three inches), seam placement, and utilizing the bounce. You'd be having 400 ODI wickets if you remain injury free.

WI seems to have a good future. Infact, it seems that people are again starting to watch the matches live from the stadium

That is good sign for cricket

NZ 41-3 against Afghanistan...hope Afghans win and go into the QF stage...would be good to get revenge against them like we did against SL.

Should SL lose to SA...we will most likely be playing Australia in the QF...hope that is televised. We'll be up against their pace battery of Paris, Sandhu, and company!

I thought all of AUS, IND, and ENG matches were gonna be show...I know AUS match vs Ireland is not on tv and neither was the Eng-Ire game. But surely they will show the AUS QF if there is no other sched clash?

Afghans have been disappointing...26-4 after keeping NZ to just 198. I guess we'll have to wait some more before there is an upset in this world cup. AUS 74-4 v Ireland chasing 130.

Apparently the longer the format, the more difficult it gets for the Associates at this U19 level. Lack of popularity of cricket compared to other sports in those countries coupled with weak pipelines compared to those of test playing nations, simply add to their woes.

It's hard to tell. But most likely if we play Aus we will probably be on tv. The easiest way to get on TV is to play against India. They are showing India vs. Zim right now.

Yeah we're pretty much guaranteed to play AUS in the QF...India will play Pak and I think PAK will destroy them. Not sure how the groups are organized. But the strongest 4 teams are hard to tell. I think WI and SA might be the two strongest sides in the tourney...with PAK and AUS somewhat behind them. Hopefully we're up there with England at the least.

Our boys better get ready to face a barrage of 90 mph bowling for 30 overs against the Aussies.

NZs batting is their weak point (as usual), I feel somewhat proud? maybe thats not the right word, but i play with a few of these guys from the nz squad in auckland club cricket, Ish Sodhi, Matt Quinn, Cameron Fletcher. Watch out for Ish Sodhi, really good leg spin bowler with a lot of variations, also cam fletcher, future wicket keeper batsmen for nz national side! you heard it here first.
