I am not worried about avoiding follow on. Let them stay on the crease we can overtake the score of West Indies easily.

Give Junaid and others some time...Anamul or Mominul will surely struggle here, if not for temperament but surely for skill standards. Let them play more and you can give them exposure through ODIs... That will make their life easier too. Can't debut a player in the toughest format without preparing him...be sure, whatever is the surface, they will struggle for one thing or the other...that can easily turn them into Nazimuddin and Junaids...
I acknowledge their talent and skill, but let them be prepared ...

they're better FC players so i don't think giving them experience in ODIs will necessarily prepare them well for tests. plus anamul and mominul have done better than guys like junaid and SN on the domestic circuit over the last couple of years so that would suggest they have a higher skill level than them. also best to debut someone in better known conditions, what's better than giving a player a debut whilst in form in home conditions on a road where everyone is scoring runs?

Narine is a good limited over bowler. He needs more time to get accustomed in the longer format.

agreed but that was probably a better snorter than the one Gul fired into to SN and everyone here thought that was ball of the decade!

Yep, saving the match is a priority but runs needs to be scored too. And by scoring few with the old ball when Nayeem is well set will give both Rahim and Nayeem the mental peace to leave the good and semi-good ball when WI bowlers will be charged up with new ball in hand. The last thing we want is get a new batsman facing the new ball. Planning should be done for different phases to achieve the ultimate goal.
But I am not sure why WI is making RP bowling now when the new ball is almost due in 5 more overs. May be they will not take it rightaway.

Well, he is superb in ODIs and T20s. Not bad at all in tests, though could be better. He is still very young though

Obviously, you havent seen Junaid bat in Tests before. How many times has he got out EXCATLY in the same fashion -like a total Anari -to a rising delivery! His early front-foot prod is simply laughable.

Narine could still be a good bowler, I'm justing busting Windiefan and Dman's chops. If he's rated so highly, he must be talented. Its just you need a little more than wickets against NZ (arguably poorer batters than us) on home tracks to acertain anything for sure.

If all batsmen try like Naeem the match will be drawn easily. Hope our rest of batsmen follow Naeem.

Our highest score in test cricket is 488 vs Zimbabwe back in 2005. Hope we can cross that today.
Also I want nayeem to get a 100 and then break individual HS in an innings of Ash 158, that made 8 years ago
