@Sporting, You seem to be pretty active on social media, I disagree with you on pretty much everything but do admire your passion for your team.

To be honest, I wasn’t that active before.
Just in the last 1-2 years became very active.

Disagreement is wonderful. I love it.
I wouldn’t be here at BC if everyone kept on agreeing on things.

Keep disagreeing with me.. eventually an agreement will come about

I can never agree with a sylheti hater! Even where there are terms for agreement.
Being disloyal/disrespectful to Sylhet/Sylhetis is a heinous crime.
A crime that deserves generation of punishment.

You and your children, and your grand children and so on shall never rule the kingdom of Sylhet. InShaAllah soon we will rule our beloved Bangladesh!

Sylhetis will make Bangladesh Great Again.

^ I haven't mentioned anything about sylhet but looks like you are stuck on that for some reason. I am not a hater. Sylethi people always shower me with so much love and affection. It is an honor to be their leader.

on topic, I don't have Twitter.

My dad is from Habiganj but due to a mom from a different district and being born and brought up in Dhaka I do not possess any kind of accent in my Bangla dialect. Also, it keeps me free off any stereotypical idiosyncracies. Unfortunately, I experience a lot of direct hatred against Sylhetis among Bangladeshis from other districts of which I could not find any justifiable ground. What is the origin of such hate? Or is it mere jealousy shaped into self-aggrandization? Is this because Sylhet is the land of most pious men ever came to our country? Is it because it is the land of fuel, gas and natural resources? Or because Sylhetis are the first who democratically voted to select to stay with Bengal instead of Assam - paving the way for democracy in the region? Or just for tea or proudly serving as the largest supplier of foreign reserve since the inauguration of Bangladesh? I do not know but I believe as a Bangladeshi every single citizen is highly indebted to Sylhet and should consider it as a blessing that Sylhetis chose Bangladesh.

Wait a minute!
You claim to be free from stereotyping and yet sound like a typical Sylheti, especially in your last remark which in other words tell me to idolize Sylhetis that I can't agree with simply because I may have a special feeling for a place in BD but can't impose that on others.

During my teen life, I was told to be aware of BNCC club. I considered it as a fun-fact and Sylhet was never part of it. Coming from a 90% Bikrompuri greater family, I didn't have the chance to mix with many Sylhetis. But I don't have any hatred for either Sylhotis or any other BAN districts despite their public notoriety. Bangladesh is a very small country and I really hate to distinguish people living there at any level.

One of my dear friends (whom I met in Canada) is half-Sylheti and half-Bikrompuri. He was a blind fan of Sylhetis and used to hate everything about Bikrompuris. Inevitably, we used to argue a lot as we used to argue about almost everything. But that never had any impact on our friendship.

Coming back to the original topic, I have an almost inactive Twitter account which isn't worth of sharing it here.

I like Syhleti's, especially their weddings. The last time I went to a wedding during a family tour to London.

The groom arrived in a Lamborghini Aventador. Syhleti's know how to do something right!

I am afriad, thats all the input I can provide.

But the food was bad, so god knows if they know how to cook.

I can answer this. Food can be bad at any traditional wedding regardless of the original residence of the cook/chef. See the big picture. Sylhetis are the best chefs BD could ever produce. They bring, stature, money, national reserve etc. I know some members will like to come over again and try to find the finite conjecture if any in this statement and try to create a mountain out of a molehill. But tell me first, who invented vindalu absence of which is now keeps every Pakistani/Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant menu incomplete?

Hey I was just messing around man, nothing serious. I mostly agree with what you said. BTW Vindaloo is a part of Goan Cuisine as far as I know. I love chicken Vindaloo with Roti or naan.

I know, that remark was not pointed at you. Vindalu was kind’a reinvented in British curry houses mostly operated by Sylheti cooks. Anyways, thanks and back to op.

I use twitter for customer service support mainly.

Sometimes when I am bored I would write some political statements.

I usually don’t use other features of twitter that much like retweet or like

One World's post 1: I don't have any stereotypical idiosyncracies.
One World's post 2: sylhet is the best. All hail Sylhet, we have vindaloo.

Btw, the vindaloo originated in Goa and is an old Portuguese recipe called vin alho (wine and garlic).

His name Anurag Rudra sounds very indian. Not a Sylheti type of name IMO.

After reading the article, I feel his 100% Indian.
Many Hindus escaped from Sylhet, unfortunately his family stayed behind (guessing from article). Now the writer seems to be confused of his real identity.
