If he is handled properly he will be one of the biggest assets of our cricket. I have already said in the Shakib thread that after Tamim he is potentially our second best batsman. I also see him along with Mushfiqur Rahim as long-term captaincy options. He is hardworking, well-spoken and has no ego issues.

I've only been following BD cricket since relatively recently but this fellow really caught my eye in the recent ODI series Vs Aus. I think he has great potential and looks like he could be a very useful player for the future. He bats sensibly, his bowling looks to be handy with potential to become really quite dangerous and the guy seems to have plenty of guts. That last bit is the most important in my opinion. Every side needs a guy who can tough it out, someone with that, "they'll never take me alive" attitude, someone like Paul Collingwood or Allan Border to show the others what can be done in tough situations. I may be mistaken, but that what I see in the fellow, besides the fact that his bowling adds good variety to an attack that tends to have too many slow left armers.

another great player in the making. this kid learns from his mistakes, and takes notes.

he should be pushed to take the responsibility of no. 4 in ODIs, and no. 5 in test matches. he can bowl a bit more in ODIs, and with more training, he can even contribute more effectively in test matches.

It is good to let Shakib off captaincy, it will relieve some pressure. He will be offered captaincy again in a few years when he will be more than ready, Bangladesh will voyage into a new horizon then

Intelligent player. I wish he works on his bowling a little-improve line and length, add more variety. He could be a very very good all rounder.

Who is the player? You are discussing and send many post cosecutively but nobody utter his name? How do you comment about him without telling the name of the player. Mystrious!

That's what I thought as well. Riyad doesn't look like the husband in the pic. He looks like the bride's younger brother. Anyways congratulations and best of luck to the couple. Naeem also got married recently. Wonder who's next.

She is cute. I did not find her too old rather Riyad is looking slimmer and younger, thanks to strict fitness training. Heavy make up can make you look older.
