This team will actually do quite well against the main XI. About the same strength if we take out Shakib and Mushfique.

asif ahmed gets his 5th ton in his 25th match. good going buddy! i wish he was still batting top 3 though, would be putting some pressure on the test top 3.

Well done Asif Ahmed. It was overdue. I agree he needs to bat at 3, he had ambitions of making the NT batting at 3 a few years back, so he should stick to his position. Hom and Naeem need to bat at 3 as well.

There it is! 12th FC century for Naeem. We've got a real fight on our hands for the #3 spot.

Tora je ja bolish bhai mor chokka naeem chai!

Tushar - Alok - Chokka - Asif

Just to make sure, i wasn´t serious bout Aloukik Kopali. As MoC said he needs to hit 200s.

Naeem sure is consistent. I'm not sure the selectors see naeem as a #3, that or he doesn't want to bat at 3 because otherwise I don't get why Marshall was picked ahead of naeem as both are middle order bats and naeem has shown more over the years than Marshall. Imrul I understand because he's always been a top order bat.

He has been poor beyond belief. If he can´t even do it in NCL will never do it anywhere else. Mentally lightyears weaker than Alok, JuSi and Nazimuddin. That tells you a story.

Shabash Naeem still think he deserves to be #5 in our odis and #3 in tests. Anyone know what he averages since hiw comeback against windies? surely its 45+.

shuvagata hasn't been that bad over his career. 09-10 season he averaged 60+ from 7 matches, 10-11 season he averaged 60+ from 3 matches, 11-12 season he averaged 11.3 from 3 matches, 12-13 he averaged 33.72 from 9 matches and this current season (13-14) he so far averaging 60.2 from 4 matches. he's had one terrible season, one ok season and the rest (including current) have been very good.

Naeem Really deserves to be in the Test XI, I would even argue the ODI XI. I really loved the way he played the anchor role against New Zealand a few months ago. It was very timely and very crucial knock to bring stability to our batting. Two fifties in three matches, that's not too bad son

Naeem has a very good list A record to go with his very good FC record, he did well in his last ODI series so I also would argue that there could be a spot for him, certainly in the squad.

Good to see some of the batsmen and bowlers performing well. There's about one spot left in the batting and a few in the bowling. Hope to see some of these guys sustain the consistency

If asif Ahmed keeps making top order runs and the likes of shamsur and imrul (even tamim nowadays) struggle to be consistent then selection could get interesting, I'd still like to see naeem, raqibul and shuvagata bat at 3 for their clubs.
