Default Khulna becomes 7th test venue

not sure if this news is already shared here.

The Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna will become the seventh Test venue in the country when it hosts the second Test between Bangladesh and West Indies from November 21. The ground has hosted four ODIs and a single Twenty20 international, the first-ever held in Bangladesh, in 2006.

Can anyone tell us what kind of surface are we looking at for Khulna?
From the last match between Khulna and Barishal, looks like Khulna could be a high scoring ground. There were 900+ runs from 4 days which is pretty decent

Can't wait to watch Nazza set this venue on fire with a test triple hundred.

I have had a view of the stadium in Khulna from the outside about a year ago. One thing is for sure, this stadium is really picturesque and is easily the second best stadium in Bangladesh in terms of facilities. It's capacity of 14k won't be challenged though.

For test matches, we can, at most, expect 4k - 5k people to show up. Although, for the ODIs, the stadium is going to be packed up for sure. Wish I could go and watch a match there.

We should rotate the 2nd test venue between ZACS, SANS, and the Sylhet Stadium if they get that going.
