Default We still lack the killer instict in Test cricket

1. When a nightwatchman is sent almost an hour left what do you do as a captain? (field settings)

2. Dark shadows are growing. Still have few overs to go. what do you do? (fielding captain)

3. Every current player should be taking a gardening class. I suggest Habibul Bashar as an instructor. (Do you guys remember?)

Went bed at lunch break. By looking at things looks like Rahim is being Rahim. Why are we defending 400 instead of attacking.

dont ask!!! i almost broke my laptop when masakadza edged it and ball went through rahim and 2nd slip. i am like you got oposition 120 for 4 chasing 400 on a 4th day post tea pitch and you have only one slip. and its not like zia was bowling sh!t. he was bowling some superb deliveries if not jaffers. squared up masakadza took the outside edge and i was so sure it was going to slip fielder i screamed only to realize there is no 1st slip.

ya we lack understanding of fielding positions needed according to the bowler. this can make even a good bowling so poor....none counts catches in no mans land.

Killer instinct is not there cause WE DON'T KILL OFTEN.

And Mushy's captaincy is the result of that. When the whole management goes for the safety first option, I am sure it gets difficult for the captain to not stick to plan. But if Mushy wants to be remembered as a successful captain, he needs to hold his ground and make some ballsy decision.

Always been the case. Jason Gillespies 200 brings nightmares. Frustrating watching guys like Cremer, Meth and Shinji Masakadza hold on like they did.

Killer instinct is a person's personal trait. You either have it or you dont. IMO I think the coaches play major roles than our captain when it comes to killer instinct.

When you have only 3 wins under your belt, having a killer instinct is not easy. We just started to have it in ODI after so many years because we started winning in regular interval. they need to play more tests and they will learn to iron out many of these things.

Indeed. We will start winning more tests just like we are winning more ODIs now. Also, a coach has a role to play in instilling killer instinct. Hopefully, we will have a capable coach soon who can motivate the players and change the defensive mentality of our captain.

Our cricketers are very young. The seniormost player in our test team is 26 years old- shakib, robiul.

You cannot expect them to have killer mentality
