Ouch, we might actually have a chance against the Bweans....didn't we win 2/3 of our warmup matches in Australia?

Cricket in Zimbabue is on the decline, not much popularity.

ICC has to eventually address this issue. Teams like Zimbabue, Canada, Amirates can do well in ICC trophy or go the WC, but the fact remains, it is the foreigner immigrants who made it happen, the game itself still sucks in that country.

The popularity of Cricket in Bangladesh is unquestionable. Thus, in time, Bangladesh will move up over Zimbabue.

Since the opposition is not exactly the same team that we faced then and Zimbabwe is facing now, so Zimbabwe could still be the better team.

In short, all I wanna say is, I have learnt my lessons over Pakistan*. I will not say Bangladesh is a better team than Zimbabwe until and unless we can beat them.

*(if everyone here can remember that I had said in one of my articles that I believed that Bangladesh was a better team than Pakistan - but alas! Inzamam and Youhanna had made all the differece - one in the 3rd test match and the other in the 4th one day match.)

Looking at the players, it looks like it's more or less the U-19/CBCA team.

It's a shame when the U-19 team can match strides with a visiting test team, but it would probably be the case against us as well.

I agree that although on paper Zimbabwe looks weaker (in light of our recent performances), this is the same team that handed us innings defeats 2 years ago. I'll believe we're better when we win .. I thought we were better than Canada and Kenya, but I've been proven wrong.

However, I do remember reading an article on the BBC website that stated something like "the 'bweans are expected to put up even less resistance than Bangladesh did .." an welcome change, I must say
