'Victory' Bangla things you did today on the 16th Dec.
.. specially if you are aboard (not counting - reading the bangla news, wearing lungis etc.)..
- updated Facebook status
- listened to back to back songs from the album 'Jagoroner Gaan' while commuting to work.
- last night, I tried to get my 3 year old daughter to sing 'Amar Shonar Bangla' to create a video out of it but failed miserably. She kept singing Bappa's, 'din bari jai' instead!
- posted a message here in BC

Remembered and honored the ones that gave their lives, and wished my bro for his birthday.

I come from a proud family of martyrs and FFs, and we start our day walking to the Shikha Onirban in the Cantonment. Then we drive out to Jatioyo Sriti Shoudho before heading back to Dhaka to have lunch with other FFs and their children in front of City Hall.

There is no such a thing is as a Bangla thing. Bangla is inside you, and if you do whatever you are good at with enough gusto while images of Tigers and your flag floating about in your head, than you are doing the right thing!
Remember, culture will change, pride will not.
Btw, this forum itself is a fantastic outlet for Bengali Pride, not just cricket. So everyone pat yourselves in the back for making it what it is.

Nicely done.
Imo my view always has been just like religious donation, left hand shouldn't know what right hand does. But all too often people loves pointing out their own patriotic superiority over others. Agree with Roey.
