পরিসংখ্যান একঃ

জুনে ভারতের বিপক্ষে একটি ম্যাচ আর জুলাইতে দক্ষিন আফ্রিকার বিপক্ষে একটি ম্যাচ জিতলে বাংলাদেশের পয়েন্ট হবে ৯১। আর এটা হলেই কোন রকম হিসাব নিকাশ ছাড়াই বাংলাদেশ পৌছে যাবে চ্যাম্পয়ন্স ট্রফির আসরে। আর ভারতের সাথে সিরিজ জিততে পারলেতো একেবারে সোনায়-সোহাগা।

পরিসংখ্যান দুইঃ

তবে বাংলাদেশ যদি একটি মাত্র ম্যাচ জেতে তবে তাকিয়ে থাকতে হবে পাকিস্তান – জিম্বাবুয়ের এবং পাকিস্তান শ্রীলংকা সিরিজ দুটির দিকে। যেখানে পাকিস্তান যদি কমপক্ষে ১ টি ম্যাচ হারে তাহলে বাংলাদেশ যাচ্ছে ইংল্যান্ডে।

পরিসংখ্যান তিনঃ

বাংলাদেশ যদি ভারত এবং সাউথ আফ্রিকার সাথে একটি ম্যাচও না জিততে পারে তবুও সুযোগ থাকছে চ্যাম্পিয়ন্স ট্রফিতে খেলার। সেজন্য পাকিস্তানকে ৮ টি একদিনের ম্যাচের মধ্যে যেকোন ২ টি ম্যাচ হারতে হবে। তবে জিম্বাবুয়ের বিপক্ষে একটি ম্যাচ হারলেই চ্যাম্পিয়ন্স ট্রফি থেকে ছিটকে পড়বে পাকিস্তান। তখন ৭ নং ও ৮ নং স্থান ধরে রাখবে বাংলাদেশ ও ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ।

As far as trying is concerned, the team will definitely try to win all, but what we are saying that, one win will ensure our ranking 7/8 ... That's the pass mark, but surely we won't give a walk over if we win the first match

We know our limitations. We know the reality. Opponents have better skillsets. Only thing working for us is we are at home.
