Default ICC WCL Division 4

Always excited about these affiliates facing up against each other. Out of the 6 teams, 3 of the teams are filled with the local talents compared to the other 3 who are just filled with immigrants. Nothing against that but you want to see the local talents playing because then it shows the game has spread to the roots.

Anyways here is the link to the tournament home page.

i think nepal could be a good team....interesting to see how USA do, especially since they're trying to create a t20 league in the country.

I see potential In Nepal as well. They have a lot of interest in cricket and they have a decent population as well. They haven't done too badly over the years but have failed to really push through and make a big run. Hope they do it this time.

Also I don't see US being any good in cricket for a long time. USACA doesn't seem to care enough about developing the game and also the fact is, there are so many sports already played in the US that it would be hard to get the sport popular amongst the local Americans. Only hope is the WI and subcontinental kids continue having passion for the game and playing the game.

there are so many who play sports in the USA so if cricket gets any sort of decent popularity they'll probably pretty decent. hard to see it be as big as some of the other sports but it might not need to get that big for them to be a decent team.

Well what's encouraging is the U19 guys are in the team so we can see that the youth system is churning out players. It would be great for cricket if it gets some popularity and the game is starting to grow due to the rise of the subcontinental people immigrating here but it'll take time.

Key game today is Nepal vs US. If Nepal wins then they should be in the finals.

so far nepal are moving along slowly with a run rate of under 3 currently 0/16. malaysia are 1/23 at just over 3 for their run rate. tanzania are doing surprisingly well 0/27 run rate over 4.

All the teams are batting relatively slow. Perhaps its a slow wicket to bat on?
