Default Tigers likely to play in USA

http://www.thedailystar.net/sports/b...ay-usa-1514557

Quote:
The Bangladesh cricket team is likely to play international cricket in the USA for the first time during their tour of West Indies in June-July this year.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) sources confirmed yesterday that they have received a draft schedule of the tour, in which the West Indies Cricket Board drafted two T20Is in Florida.

Bangladesh will also play two Tests and three ODIs in the West Indies.

International cricket is nothing new to the USA as New Zealand, Sri Lanka, West Indies and India played T20I matches at Lauderhill since 2010. The last match in Florida was played between West Indies and India in August 2016.

Nice. I'm gonna have to try and get down to Miami around that time.

I hope at least one Test is played in Jamaica or Barbados though. We haven't played at the marquee Caribbean venues since 2004.

It's ridiculously easy to get a VISA if you have the formalities looked into by organization like BCB who have good relationship with US embassy.

I have been to that stadium to watch Shakib's CPL game last year. I was sort of disappointed. It has a small gallery. And some open grass stands (like NZ).

It is few hours from my place. So I will definitely go.

Any BC members are welcome to stay and eat at my place for free (ask Ajfar for review, he has been to my house once). Then we can drive together. I can have 4/5 people in my car and if we have more then can rent a SUV.

But I will charge Tigers_Eye.

If you are going to go to just watch Shakib you are wasting your time. At the most he will score a 30, and I am being very optimistic.

Go on a holiday.

Jun-July will be too hot for a Canadian to go to Florida. Still it's tempting...

@Mufi Bhai,

Don't you live in NY? Isn't it a day-long drive from there all the way South to Miami?
