they should not be in it next year.
if they cant get into the top 5 in the premiership they dont deserve to be in the champions league.

why not? they shud be allowed to defend their title... but then again its a liverpool fan talking here.

No not at all. they cant get in to the top 5 they shoulnt be aloud in the champions league, it out of order.

They won thsi years Cl because they were good enough in 2004.

In 2005, they were not good enough to be in CL next season. As simple as that.

Then again it will be good to see them go out early next year, as I believe they wont be as lucky as they got this time. :P

so you cant have a reigning premier in the league you are saying. So who is defending what if they dont play.

Well, Brazil are not being allowed automatic entry to the next World Cup. And this was the case with the Champions League as well, but they changed the rules at the last minute.

At least they didnt sacrifice Everton ! That would have been really unfair on them. After all, it was because of Liverpool, that Everton lost the chance to play in Europe in the 80s.
