I Observed Most of the people in the forum Prefered Ash in their line up when i was watching the thread of your playing 11. I was laughing from inside cause i knew the consequence. Today he literally unsettled the middle order but getting himself out in a foolish way as before and involved in a runout with Zunaid. Now a days i am more scared of his good innings rather than bad innings cause one good innings would make sure team has to carry this burden for an year doesnt matter how he performs.

Management should drop Ash, Mash, Riyad, Shuvo immidiately, let them know the pain of punishment. Bring in Nafees, Rubel, Jaharul, Nayeem.

Mahmudulah annoys me! i use to like him actualy! I thought he had potential, and could be a good mid-order batsmen for b'desh. he definetly has lost self-confidence self-belief! and needs guidence. I dont think he trusts himself in his ability to hit the ball for bounderies! for sixes! or mybe his just out of form in international-level!

I couldn't stop myself from Agreeing..
Dont forget to add a lollypop drop catch.
Unfortunately, we have to carry his burden until he decides to step up by himself. I barred my self from wasting my frustration on him and accepted his life long membership. Just feel sorry for those cricketers who have to make room for him....for years.
PS: Mods.....can we please add any crying icon in the tools?

The story of the match, run outs. If we could utilize the opportunities we got, ZIM probably does not even score 150. Then, there are 4 run outs in our inning.

I was a big Ash supporter, but he has made me into a true Ash-cynic. He never should have received this opportunity. He needs to go.

Face it guys, without Tamim and Shakib we're just not a good team. The only other player that's showed any type of consistency besides those 2 is Imrul and he showed it again even though he could not carry on. Ash firstly needs to get out of the team. How can he still be that unreliable after all these years? We should try to groom up Jahurul instead of wasting our time with Ash. His mental attitude just shows he can't play international cricket. Riyad should not be locked in by any means at #7. After the tri series against India and Sri Lanka he's done absolutely nothing. Well our main problem still lies with the #3 and #4 spots. With that kind of a problem, it's really hard to imagine us getting to the next round of the WC.

A few proposed changes for the 2nd ODI: - Drop Ash.
- Keep Mushy only if he can make the team as a batsman.
- Bring in Jaharul. See #2.
- Drop one of the pacers and bring in Rubel. He is our only real pace threat.
- I would give Mash this series to see whether he still has it. But, I have a feeling that he may be finally done.

If he has been given 3 matches to prove himself, he will do it in the 3rd ODI. This man has hundreds of lives. In cricketing sense off course.

I was afraid of this. "ki honu re!" has been a disease of the BD team right from the beginning. The Kiwi thrashing probably brought it back big time. Hopefully, they will take ZIM seriously from now. I still expect 4-1, as I have said right from get go.

MODS: Can you please correct my typo and make it "The Frustration thread"...

I'd beg to differ there Lamisa.
Zunaed was running to the danger end, so it was his call.
Ash pushed the ball for a single, once he was few steps of the crease, both him and Zunaed looked at each other and then Z took off, responding to Ash's call.
The rule is, Z was running to the danger end, so he has to ascertain his own danger and call that shot. He had the right to say NO to that single and make Ash return back. But once he ran, he never bothered to even stretch or jump for the crease while he was approaching to the keeper's end and it was getting a tight call.
This is not the first time I've seen Zunaed running himself out by responding to the other batsman's danger call. He should learn to stand his own ground or else end up running himself out.

Now, is this lose a FLUKE?
I don't think so.
The white wash against NZ was a fluke.
