According to today's Kaler Kanth SN was asked about his part good record against Australia.SN said not to remind him about his past.He knows he have a good series against Australia in last home series but he dont recal the memory to get rid from complacency. He added i am not interested to think about my past good work i need to do good now to cement my position in the team.
Thats smart thinking i should say.
Absence of Junaid will give him certificate to play all 3 matches without pressure. He said he want to utilize this situation.

I am pretty sure I am going with you guys. Now the question is how can we get tickets?

I fear for both of these players. They may never be heard of again if the get torn up by the Australians.

I really WANT to be wrong....
LBW - I hear yea but for someone who hasn't seen the players first hand or not in a while can you elaborate as it appears you have more recent exposure?

With Kapali I'm guessing it's just the rust of not having faced a express, high-quality attack that will not give you too many 4 balls and fielding that is potentially asphyxiating. Similarly, an aggressive and powerful batting unit will probably treat loopy, slow-through-air leggies as canon-fodder.

But what would the issue for Hom? Bad technique? Lack of a gameplan against better attack? Nerves?

IMO this is a mismatch .There is no way BD will be able to beat Australia with the kind of form they had in WC.

Ticket selling is a mess! Yesterday morning I contacted with their help line and they informed that "It will be available from today (Yesterday)". I went to them yesterday and they suggested to buy it using mobicash. After some investigation, I found that mobicash can't be refilled via usual Flexi load. So, I had to go their GPC again to refill. After numerous attempts , having got tons of exception, I could manage to buy e-ticket. In the SMS they informed that, "Collect the hard copy before 7:00 PM, Friday". So, I went their GPC today, and to my utter dismay, they informed me to come after 3:00 PM and trying to argue that It is supposed to give within Friday, so the time hasn't come. I am feeling so down now, went 3 times to GPC and yet to get it in my hand :-(

This is such a disaster. I thought after the WC the ticket selling method will be improved.

i guess the team will be announced on the eve of the match but probably they already know about the final 11...Hom and Alok just threw their opportunities...probably was very nervous...which is very common among our players (reject, new comers or even the existing ones)...not sure when we will build our mental toughness...if Shuvo plays who can he replace and if Rok bats at 4 then I see to place for Alok unless Riad gets dropped...I doubt they will play Hom...

Razab bhai
To me it's nothing. It can happen any day to any player against even the poorest bowling attack.

Hom is new. Nothing can be judged by one practice match.

The previous comments were made BEFORE the match not after... the results from the match just confirms the fears

Mashrafe yet to decide

Sports ReporterThe drama over Mashrafe Bin Mortaza playing the three-match one-day series against Australia still hangs in the balance with the first game at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur only 48 hours away.

So what's the benefit of BCB playing Mashrafee when he himself doesn't consider it fit to play? Revenue raising due to greater interest in the game? Not including Nazmul? Some biff with him due to his previous comments and ensuring his career and his legs are destroyed?

For the sake of Bangladesh cricket let the man have his damn surgery. Enough of this drama!

Regarding this match, I hope the spinners get smashed if we go with two pacers. I am sick of such a one-dimensional attack and lack of its adaptability to sporitng and semi-sporting pitches. The batsmen will do stupid things regardless of what anyone says or prays.

How is turning wickets 'less sporting' than pacer friendly ones? You don't have reliable enough pacers to go with 3 pacers. Shafiul is probably the best one and even he's not consistent enough.

BTW you did go with 4 seamers yesterday. And the most economical bowler was a part timer.
