As the story unfolds, I feel even more annoyed by BCB. Even if Shakib acted a bit rough, I was still backing him to continue as the captain, now with all the words from Law/Saad it seems like Shakib was forced down from the post and perhaps the board was wanting the team to fail so that they can get back at Shakib.

In a country filled with "apni aage" kind of people, Shakib was a bright exception, someone who doesnt mind taking the baton and saying " You are wrong, sir", clearly many BCB officials, who are treated like Sheikhs by their chamchas, did not like this and wanted to get rid of this 'arrogant' boy. I just hope someone from the government or the cricketing body realizes that BCB is run by some idiots and take just action. We can just hope that BCB is run like an organisation that generates million dollar revenues and not like the tea shop around the corner.

i really don't understand bc members here...i think most of them r so negative...r jegula nia kotha bola ucìt sheguli bolena...jamon amader domestic match kano tv telecast hoyna? kano reebok,adidas amader kit sponsor na? Kano chittagong dhaka chara kothau match hoyna.? Egula nia andolon kora ucit kin2 shoby busy bcb k na bujhe galagal korate...mone hoy beshirvag e probashi tai desher obostha aneksomoy bujha jaina...jaihok ektu shomalocona korlam r ki.!

FYI, there have been plenty of threads about those issues in BC. It all sums up BCBs incompetence. However, that does not mean we have to ignore the latest examples of incompetence from BCB. R desher manush koto beshi bujhe ta jana ase. Just because some posters do not have the same opinion as yours, it does not reflect good on you when you say they dont know anything about our country as they are probasi.
And many native Bangladeshis are against this decision by bcb, in case you have not noticed.

i didn't say that! i agree with US's opinion 101%! but there's a way to criticise. e.g- isam did a very good job at voicing his opinion in that loitta bashing article of his

and FYI, i am NOT a shakib hater. i just don't like him as a captain. anyone got a problem with taht?

No Lamisa no one has a problem with that. You are entitled to your opinion just like everybody else here. But you asking US to write in 'civilized' is a bit funny, you make it sound as if BCB officials are very civilized group of people and they deserve the utmost respect. The only thing they deserve is jutar mala.

if even US stoops to their level, what will be the difference between the bcb officials and him? the last thing we need is for our press to turn like them.

Sad to see some people are so happy about this, watch what happens under Mushfiq's captaincy. Even his place in the team is not secured by his performance like Shakib and Tamim so he could turn out to be another non perfoming captain likes ones we had before, atleast Tamim and Shakib are the best players in the team.

He didn't take time to prove you wrong. No doubt Shak had been a great servant of our cricket for last 2/3 years and he was a much decent guy to begin with, but JS ruined his attitude through his complete dependence on Shak. We needed to be a team, rather than a one man team. We have a situation now, where we have a better opportunity to be a team, once again

actually sum people always likes to defend shak though he's actually a BEKUB...he proved everytime he got a little cricket brains...he was not aware of what actually a team is...once i got a huge respect for this bekub but rite now i dislike him totally...i don't know bout mushy's future...but 4 the first time i felt we got a thinking captain too...i think it's a big big achievement...that big fool jamie sid did a lot of damage...how much improvements we shud have achieved was completely slow down by this modon...t20, odi, test same players played...his pupils junaed n rock now sucking big time...he was just a modon...this modon created 2 bekub shak n tamim...now u see a captain can change a lot...our team played as a unit.
