Good thread Magic bhai!

Ash did good! We batted all our 50 overs and we didn't get bowled out...lost 7 wkts!
God bless Ingrid Newkirk, Dianne Feinstein, Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand & Mitch Landrieu!

Naeem came on and quickly moved to the fifth gear to come up with some situational hitting instantaneously which was nice to see.
Man is here.

Good thread. This is what I want to see, optimism. We scored our highest runs against Sri Lanka in Bangladesh, so that's one record that went. Even after we were reduced to 74-4 our middle and lower order didn't crumble under the pressure like they used to before and got us to 260-7. We batted 50 overs and we weren't all out! Our #8 batsman averages 32!!

Nayeem and Riad again proved they are worthy lower middle order.
Ash back in the form( what is form?)
Tamim scored some runs despite just back from injury
maintaining similarity with last year where we lost first match of another trination series

I agree, there are lots of positives to take out of this game. The conditions were the key, obviously the side batting second would have an advantage because the conditions later in the day were not conducive to bowling and fielding.

Ash played maturely and almost got a hundred. Perhaps Naeem should have been sent in ahead of Mahmudullah, but delaying the power play until the 44th over (or was it the 42nd?) paid off in the end...

I agree with Rubel bhai, our attack was too spin heavy and we were definitely a pacer short. even aftab's ocassional medium pacers would have been useful on that pitch.

Ashraful struggled in the match, but he did not give his wicket away like he used to do when he struggled in past.

Riyad now looks assured of himself as a batsman. Sorry Kaps, but you are not getting his slot.

Naeem once again showed he is being wasted at #8.

Scoring 260 after the all familiar collapse of the middle order was for sure the most positive aspect.

our top line batsmen need to step up to the plate, what happen with nafees opening the batting?
why wasn't he chosen ahead of kayes?
shakib ,rokibul failed miserably
next match shakib makes it up with a hundred

mahmudullah, naeem, mushfiq, ash, tamim---all in positive attitude
kapali will not replace riad or naeem any times soon.
if rokibul doesnt perform, either aftab or shahriar nafees will replace him--but i am sure rokibul will find his form

only worry is shafiul---some might say, its too early to drop him. we definitely need rasel back and he should replace shafiul immediately.
we could have won this match

if we have either mashrafe/najmul/rasel instead of shafiul
rubel was not great, but he was not horrible like shafiul, this guy seems like crying before his first bowl.
