Smile CWI Agrees Truce With Star Players Over Availability

Really good news. The boys are coming back

Quote:
The biggest names in Caribbean cricket could be about to return to the West Indies team after significant progress was made in negotiations between players and the board.

Not only has a resolution been agreed to the Darren Bravo impasse, but the likes of Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Dwayne Bravo and Chris Gayle are also available for selection for the ODI side after an amnesty was proposed by WIPA, the players' union.
Sammy and co. might be back...A very big development is selecting the players who are playing in Tournaments all over the world, and that they don't have to play in the local domestics in order to be selected. That's big.

WI would do well to continue and nurture the players they currently have rather than wasting their time with players like Pollard and Dwayne

Them kicking those players out is equivalent to us kicking out players like Shakib,Tamim and Co and expecting some newbies to step up and get nurtured within months.
