Default David Moore Appointed U/19 Coach

Moore also acted as Windies interim head coach for three months after Bennett King left. He was eventually relieved by John Dyson. He later coached Bermuda for two years.

Taskin will officially turn 20 this year. He's done with U-19 unless they did some age cheating and the ICC thinks he's really 17.

^^ I have not followed the U/18 tournament that closely, but, yeah, Shanto sounds exciting prospect.

Young Nazmul creates a storm in U-18 cricket

Prodigious young cricketer Nazmul Hossain Shanto took the ongoing Young Tigers U-18 National Cricket Competition by storm when he made a century and a double century in back-to-back matches.

Left-handed Nazmul, who is playing for Rajshahi in the competition, was 185 not out in the first innings of the previous match against BKSP and followed it up with 217 not out in the first innings of the second round game against Sylhet on Sunday.

‘This is a rare consistency,’ said junior team selector Sazzad Ahmed. ‘He is a revelation of our game development and has been with us since getting into the under-15 team.

‘Nazmul also made a century and two fifties for Combined School Team on the tour of Indian state Kerala in September,’ said Sazzad.

We have a U/19 tri-series in England coming August. Is there any tournament before that?

Rohan and Shanto will definitely play in WC.

Shanto was quite good in the first few rounds. Was total flop in the last 4/5 matches.

Rohan is a special talent it seems. He is an all-rounder. He is a opening batsman and bowler. Wasn't good with the bat but was the most consistent bowler in the tournament. Got lot of 5-ers and a 10 wicket haul in the final as well.

I hope he is a pacer.

Officially he is 17 so that what it matters.

Its all same for sub continent players so no point talking about their real age

What about afghan players aged around late twenties in U19 tournament? Most Pakistani players are around mid twenties, at least that's what they look like for sure in U19s...to be honest I think only BD players are mostly U19 in these age group tournaments..

I would've picked greenidge as he was a legendary batsman and our young batsmen could've learnt something from him. Just like his Andy Roberts helped Mashafee. In the youth stages you need coaches who can teach skill.

There is enough space in middle of Australia. I am sure we can easily fit it inside and no one will be hurt apart from Crocodile Dundee.

Yeah his fb page lists 1993 as his birth year. The only possible explanation is he lied on fb so he could sign up (i think fb requires you to be at least 13 to get an acct). And he did only play one world cup so maybe he really is just 17. But I have no idea.
