Its quite unfortunate. nadal seems to have carrying an injury in his left knee. I have seen him leaving many balls. But darcis played really well..

So sad to see Nadal lose in the 1st round! He did incredibly well to win the French after such a long lay off and probably needs to rest up again since he is quite injury prone. I'll be going down there this week later on and if I do then this will be my 8th straight Wimbledon!!!

Huge upset by Llyeton Hewitt to knock out 11th seed Wawrinka.

Great to still see a player who has so much passion for his country and the sport to keep working hard despite how much he has gone through in his career.

Hope he goes far into the competition. He still has so much to give to the sport. Hewitt is a devastating player at his best.

Tomic is playing tonight so it should be interesting.

Apart from, Laura Robson beating the 10th seed, Maria Kirilenko & David Ferrer having to win it in 4 sets, nothing unsual.

This is frustrating. I was really hoping that Roger will finally clinch his 8th Wimbledon after Nadal's first round exit.

Grass courts do tend to cause more upsets. But in saying that Federer losing to a World no. 116 player?

Is this the most interesting (read bizzare) Wimbledon in recent years? When was the last time we had so many injuries in a grand slam? That too in the group stages.
