That's even worse. That means more people will be eager to get the tickets.

How can you be so sure? All we need to do is beat Eng, WI, SA or Ind on our home turf (given we'll beat Holand and Ireland on spinning condition hands down) and we would end up with a game or two in India. You never know.

Yeah, we'll play in India once we get to the second round. We'll take Ireland and Holland with us.

I was hoping we would beat Ind at Ind. No problem. We will finish the task in the semis if they can get there.

If we lose to India in that first match, it won't be so bad. We should stick to a simple plan - demolish Holland and Ireland, and target the poor spin-playing teams, such as South Africa or England. West Indies will be looking for brutal revenge. I want Ireland to be destroyed. I'm tired of losing to them in tournaments...the humiliation is just too much. They need to be reminded of their place.

If we make it to the QF, then our aim should be to own India IN India. Now I would honestly take that over a semi-final berth.

Ireland is going to come hard at all nations this WC. They're getting more and more serious about their cricket with each passing day, they have seen many star Irish in the England team. BD should look forward to playing to their potential without worrying about consequences.

On a Neutral perspective, I do not like the format actually. It can make the month long group matches boring. Correct me if I am wrong -
  • 4 teams from each group will make it to the knock-out Quarter-Final. That means all the 4 big teams from each group just need to make sure they do not loose to Minnows. It will ensure the QF ticket. So, the matches between them in group stage has actually no weight at all.
  • For Bangladesh, If we can beat Ireland, Netherlands, and England (Assuming they will loose to WI, SA, IND), we can go through to the QF. One Eid innings from Ashraful () in QF, we are through to Semi-Finals.

Is it ensuring the best team would be the Champion? Actually from the format, the real WC matches are 3 matches beginning from QF;

The big 8 teams would be thinking like - Don't loose to minnows in group stages, then win 3 in a row, and become the champion.
