FoW: 1-40 (Peng), 2-40 (Harmison), 3-53 (Hamilton), 4-53 (Pratt),
5-90 (Lowe), 6-91 (Coetzer).

Amazing!!!
This is the third consecutive wicket fall in the Durham innings. Previously I thought only Bangladesh is capable of achieving this feat(!)

Bangladesh A look to emulate senior team

Cricinfo staff

July 17, 2005

After the encouraging performances of the senior side, Bangladesh's A team have embarked on a one-month tour of England. The 15-member squad, which includes nine players with Test experience, will play five three-day games and four one-dayers against various county sides.

It is the Murphy's law. And people who are trying to humiliate the BD-A hard work they are Murphy's brother.

why are we so thrilled to beat a 3rd string durham side plus gavin hamilton? [/quote]

Are you unhappy that a young Bangladesh team is beating a young Durham team? I won't say I'm thrilled to see BD-A beat Durham (3rd or 4th or 10th team!) but I'm definetely following the performance of this team and am happy at their performance in this match so far! But having said that, I definetely know where we stand now.........that's miles behind the top teams!

I'm not unhappy that the BD "A" team is winning. A win is a win and that's what these guys need - although they haven't won the match yet it looks like they should. But I am unhappy that the county teams are not fielding more competitive teams. We lost the last 3 day game to a second string line up with one over to go in the day. But I think the team learns more when they play better players, and the county teams shouldn't just field their worst players because they are playing BD "A".

The last thing the county teams want is to lose to a lower ranked A team side, also popular players attract more revenue interms of admission fee. So I am not inclined to believe Durham is fielding "their worst players because they are playing BD "A""
