4:50pm: The first match has been abandoned as rain continues to fall.

Do they effing check the weather before deciding when to start the opening!
Surely oneday or two delay start wouldn't hurt, or why didn't they start few days before. Finishing England off in 3 days gave them more time to prepare. But i mean one can see the weather report least few weeks before!

^ Lol, people can't even forecast the weather the next day properly, and you're talking about a few weeks in advance. Also you realize how much logistics, planning, organizing, scheduling etc is involved? You can't just decide to shift everything over last minute.

You can't really guess the weather a month back. And these are not your "shoshur bari visits". You just can't shift and change whenever you like.

Basically, there was nothing anyone could have done about this. You can't control the weather neither can you push everything back because everyone has other commitments and there is a matter of ticket sales, equipment, broadcasting deals etc.

Samit Patel is a quality player, only poor fitness holding him back.

Not really interested in the next game.
Not many players to look out for other than SS and Pinak G(who is very unlikely to play)

If most matches are played at the same venue, then the risk of p= 0.5 or more is expected
