Kolkata open'a Rajib is joint first after 3rd round. Zia is joint second with 2.5. Rifat is having a hard time. 1 point after 3 rounds.

Reefat is a goner. Rakib and Rajib are future of Bangladesh chess.

Honestly, none of them are, 25+ of age and rating barely in the 2500s.

After nine rounds Zia has 5.5. Rajib lost, has 5 points so does Rifat. Poor showing. Joint leader at 7.

Zia finishes at 11th with 6.5 points in 10 rounds. The winner is Vietnam GM Li Quag Lim with 8 points.

Only 5 GM and that too around 2550 rating. We don't have shrewd people it seems

It has more to do with interest and obsession than shrewdness in general. Maybe chess improves shrewd abilities but the converse is not necessarily true.

You click on Insert link. And then in the popup insert the url. And then click enter. You will see that a new html code came up. Substitute the middle 'meat' part with your desired choice.
