why can't we play pakstan no while they don' have asif and amir?

I still see BD being the N0 8 team at the end of 2011. I can only see WI dropping, not Pakistan or NZ, so let's hope that by the Champions Trophy comes around, BD will maintain N08 position.

I'd rather we keep playing Pakistan and beat them 2 or 3 series in a row, and people put it down due to match-fixing. Two advantages here:
1. We keep getting more rating points, eventually gettin to 6 (over Pak, NZ and WI)
2. We can keep improving. Then when we play those countries( England, India and Aus) and beat them too in a series they would either shut up or stop talking/writing cricket.
We win either way...
Plus, just becuase we won against New Zealand 4-0 just now, and half of Pakistani team is about to be banned, doesn't mean they still dont have some good match-winners and some spirit. We could probably beat them right now in a series, but about whitewash I have my doubts. Im happy with any series wins against G8 any day. |
