rangpur gets its own gin at last courtsey of nice people from tanqueray. i do hope that they rangpurians shall be profitting much from their new found alcoholic association.

I saw the advertisement blitz on TV first. However, I doubt if they had our "Rangpur" in mind judging by the old Raj type of setting in the background. But, Yes..our Rangpurians should get royalty for every sip!

i am not sure if the people at tanqueray realise that there is a place called rangpur. i would strongly advise any business minded rangpurians to contact the gin manufacturer and see if they could secure a large donation to a local hospital or perhaps a school.

ditto. BTW..they can be the offcial supplier of tonic water, freshly made in Rangpur..

Unfortunately India has Rangpur also.

Rangpur is an archaeological site in Gujarat, India. Lying on the tip between the Gulf of Khambhat and Gulf of Kutch, it belongs to the period of the Indus valley civilization, and lies to the northwest of the larger site of Lothal.

Their Rangpur and our "Aungpur" ain't the same. Both places have drinkers I'm sure.

if there are two rangpurs that's just tough luck for tanqueray folks, they must pay out twice. i demand a free hospital in rangpur.
