Well, no - I'm not an India supporter, but Sachin is beyond support and fandom. He is a specimen, to be admired and appreciated. And it'd be mammoth pressure on the kid to even bring up any comparison, but little Arjun is starting to show symptoms of his cricketing DNA.

Arjun Tendulkar on Tuesday emulated father Sachin as he took eight wickets for just 22 runs for his school Dhirubhai Ambani School (BKC) in a Harris Shield match at Mumbai. Senior Tendulkar had caught national attention with a splendid performance in the Harris Shield around 23 years ago.Coincidentally, Arjun made his debut on the same day on which Sachin had debuted in international Test cricket 22 years ago.

wont be surprised if he turns out to be a mediocre player... son of great players rarely become greats themselves. But wont be surprised if he gets a place in team just because of his last name ( see gavaskar)
