Aftab Ahmed & Tamim Iqbal .

That Tamim Iqbal is batting better than anyone else in the world . Sixes are just nothing for him or grounds are too small to handle . I am so confused about his batting This guy is hitting more sixes than the fours .

Mashrafee.... simply for his ever fighting spirit and eyes as sharp as razor blades!

No one matches him on that!

OK, difficult poll as pretty much everyone tops my chart! So, I came up with a tier system.

1st Tier: (Players I favor no matter what!)

1)Habibul Bashar: As Razab/Zunaid said it in the year review, like him or not, he is still the best we got, and that’s by a mile. I consider it a sin not to put him in tier one.

2)Tapash Baisya: I like the man for his heart! On several occasions he proved how heart, and hard work bring out the best of you.

2nd Tier: (Players really close to tier one)

3)Mashrafee Mortaza: Amazingly the only one in the current bunch who is adored by everyone. I think if there was ever a negative/bashing thread on Mortaza by someone in this board, the thread would be quite long, everyone contributing just to jump on the thread starter. I also think if Mortaza continues, he will be the best ever cricketer Bangladesh has ever produced.

4)Mohammed Rafique

5)Khaled Masud Pilot

6)Javed Omar

3r Tier: (Favorite players that I hope will be in Tier 2 and then move to Tier 1 soon)

7) Aftab Ahmed
8) Mohammed Ashraful
9) Rajin Saleh
10) Enamul Haque Jr.

4th Tier: (Favorite Players who need to impress me just a little more to move to Tire 3)

11) S. K Rassel
12) Mushfiqur Rahim (Played with National team so I had to include him)
13) Nafis Iqbal
14) Shahriar Nafees Abir

5th Tier: (My favorites)

15) Alok Kapali
16) Tushar Imran
17) Shahadat Hossain
18) Manjurul Islam Rana

6th Tier: (My Other Favorites)

19) Nazmul
20) Khaled Mahmud
21) Talha Jubaer
22) Anwar Hossain Munir
23) Anyone else who plays for the National team currently!

Well, as I see, SN= Mr. Consistent

(but he only played 2 test, and 7 ODI; I am sure if he continues whatever he is doing, he will be in Tier 1 after few more test!)

Fave player....?? hmmm gotta go with Pilot. The guy is like the mainstay of the team. Closely followed by Rafique, Mashrafee and Ash. Sometimes I like Aftab and Rajin... but then again the time interval between which they impress me is far too long for my liking...

Thanks billah, poorfan, and Sami.

I'm surprised to see Pilot getting so few votes ... he is like the true 'kandari' of our team. Definitely our "mainstay" (quoting Sami) ... the ONLY hope when the top order falls like a pack of cards!

He had a 43.5 ODI average and some 5 stumps in his cap in 2005 ...

26% is not a clear majority. So unconclusive.

Mashrafee Mortaza, of course. Not much noise about him but he is a true international class professional.

My fav is Masrfee the only true international class other than Basher (2nd Fav). Ash may be matchwinner but to me, he is too inconsistent to be truly international class. I think our guest agree with me as cafe and abherath voted for Basher and Mash
