A draw...a loss...and a draw...
Well the series is done and dusted. Definitely not the tour most here expected, I thought we would win the test series(1-0), win the limited over series(2-1) and lose the T20 series.
Some pros and unfortunately quite a few cons coming out of this series...
So what did people make of the series?
How would you rate the tour overall?
List some positives and some negatives
Tour Rating - 5/10, after the pasting we got in the opening test, we came back superbly and that deserves some recognition. We won the 1st ODI quite easily, and finally finished off strong tonight.
Negatives:
Top order - Came close to smashing my phone
Zia batting - bhai eishob ki :uhoh:

Thread title says it better than I can. A really bad series. Poor running between the wickers, average fielding, average captaincy, Zia's girlish batting;poor selection as we keep picking Ash, Tamim's crashing run rate, these are all cons
Pros are that most of the batsmen did show up, and we were basically robbed in that 2nd ODI. A total of 4 decisions against us. Believe it or not, most of the bowlers showed up too, just that there wasn't much of a difference between the two teams and better captaincy was needed to strangle Zim, as well as better selection ofcourse as Shohag was missing from the ODIs and Ash was included. And of course, that BRUTAL innings from Razzak.

Gladiators, it seems your expectations were lower than mine!
I expected a 1win, 1 draw in tests, 3-0 and 2-0 in ODIs and T20s

My predictions were - 2-0 in tests, 2-1 in ODI's, 1-1 in T20

I don't remember about my expectations but I don't really mind drawing the Test & T20 series as we are ordinary in these formats but I had definitely expected BD to win the ODI series.
So Draw....ODI series win...Draw would have made me moderately happy.
In other words if we had won one more ODI I would be ok with it.

Certainly disappointed with the team's performance but....
Imagine how NZ felt losing to Bangladesh B team 0-4. Can you imagine that? Can you?
This is not the end of the world so cheer up!!
