What are the dates of the Test matches to be played in Australia in July and August? And in which cities will they be played?

Welcome to BC Roti1.

The exact dates havent been fixed yet.

About the cities, it is most likey to be in Cairns and Darwin, like last time.
The main cities (Syd,Melb,Brissy) would be way too busy with footy/league to accomodate any sort of cricket series, let alone a BD one.

BCB shouldn't let that happen. We've improved by miles since the last time we toured there.

We have two big attention seekers in the forum. One is terrorizing FC, and the other is making BC a hell.

Rather, I should say that he's a troll.

Its really not upto BCB to decide.

They (local aussie sporting bodies such as CA NRL AFL) have contracts where they share stadiums based on the season.

Plus jun-july is winter, the traditional footy season.

They couldnt even have Ashes in Syd,Melb that time of the year.

July / August is mid-winter in Sydney and Melbourne.

Brisbane is in the tropics , so ok. Like Dhaka in January. The Aussies have cleverly included Cairns and Darwin [ like they brought in Hobart about 10 years back; also Perth from 1970 ]. This means two things:

1. The "public" there can see their stars - it is a big country. The game is extended to the far-flung areas.

2. Effectively, the season starts two months earlier.
