Default deaaamn!

what the.....
so much for stretching the game beyond 3 days....our problem is more with batting...since we can't seem to survive more than 50 odd overs...murali playing would ensure we keep to that standard...
unless of course our boys can come up with the miraculous anti-murali-dote...
hmmmm...I wonder how the English did it when they beat sri lanka in sri lanka...murali was playing right?

Its called courage. England had it, they beat them.

Even lil Ash did that. He soced a century against this Murali.

However, right now, we got nothing but fear for murali. I wont be surprised, if few batsmen wet their pants while facing him in the first test.

Murali is human. If you can thump him to the boundary a few times, he'll start losing his concentration. If you try to block him, you wont score any runs, and will get out.

Default Selectors should look at banglacricket board for potential batsman against Murali.

I thought Bengali players are peanalized often for batting roughly in test match. Most perhaps all of us curse the players for playing like one day matches in tests. If the concept of breaking Murali's confidence worked, I think Bangladesh would have succeeded Murali long time ago. These advices has no value nor any influence. If our players got it in them, they will do good. Otherwise they may just end up discussing cricket problem on this board.

Orpheus,

I am guessing you are new on this board. So these wise comments might look funny to you, but they arent. If you give this board enough time, you will be shocked, to see how many times we are right. People on this board really know what they are talking about, only takes BCB to figure the same thing out lot longer.

If you dont believe me, just wait and see. You will realized. In the mean time, lets not insult one another, or make personal comments. I disagree and why is a good way to show you dont support it, rather than mocking the poster.

Just a suggestion, I hope I didnt offend you.

Thanks.

Default Sorry!

You are right! I was too rough! Sorry handle bhai. Actually, batting rigorously would make not only Murali but any bowler lose his concentration. It's good if you can do that. But the fact is, no one can. Moreover, it is a test match. You would rather play with patience - that might also make the bowlers frustrated and run out HIS patience. So it is really a competition between the bowlers and the batters - who can survive the longest?

I am sure you were right before and probably right on this matter too - just giving my side

Again, I am extremely sorry, this is indeed a friendly board. Hey, I am just a human. So you know!
