On a parallel tab I'm reading that NASA is further slashing its return to Moon / Mars budgets for want of funds. If only we could help them by transferring the endless golden spoons that have been shoved down your throats, science and the world would be thankful.

Alas, you lot are bottomless pits - where you can find everything over the past 20 years save for sporting victories.
India has been around longer than us and has more money than us. Hence, BCCI can invest more money in it's cricket.
We were twice occupied by foreign powers and have less money than your country. Moreover, corruption is rife. Hence, BCB invests less in our cricket.

India first TEST match in 1932
Bangladesh first TEST match in 2000.
In 2088, we will be as good as your current team.

BUT... considering we still have another 68 years to go, we have done well to beat your team occasionally.

I am here after such a long time. I can't remember when the last time I posted. I almost forgot that there is a site where I used to log in several times a day.

the mods banned too many of my sylethi brethren. I received so many complaints from lal miah, nil miah, shamu miah from all over biyanibazar, moulvibazar, hobiganj, downtown sylhet etc..

the palpable anti sylhet sentiment drove me away.

Didn't SportingBd took all his fellow Sylethi bros with him to a Whatsapp group?

The group is majority non Sylheti . You and everyone else is welcome to join.

If you don’t like the culture of the group: you are free to leave any time.

We have around 40 members in the group.

BC system is breaking down/ so many error message. You can also see from this thread that some efforts are being made to move BC to FB.

I don’t think it’s a easy fix to get the forum back ! Upgrades etc are required.

Match Adda needs to funnel some of his moolah into this site...buying his own moderators and admins.

Match Adda is the man who will revive Banglacricket Forum!

I am posting after a long long time as well. this thought just came to my mind and i visited this site which was one of my fav long time back.

forums have become a bit old fashioned a bit geeky for current time and age. it was a rage 15 years ago. ofcourse now fb groups are there and allow all discussions but often hard to be anonymous. one big advantage of forum over fb group is that, people can talk about a certain time independent topic(not current affairs for which fb is better) i.e. how to play a perfect cover drive, people can talk about it , post videos , someone can come 2 years later and still will find the topic interesting.

ofcourse the site also has to update with latest new features to make it exciting for new users.
