What happened to the 1st ODI? Didn't we lose to them? Or you are still hanging on to the "if 30 + run" factor?

As per this BD team vs the last BD team:
batting:
SN was on fire but now I am not sure if he can duplicate that performance.
Mehrab Jr. = JO no improvement.
Bashar didn't perform no garantee he would perform this time. Kono alamot dekhi nai domestic league'a.
Ash, Aftab as question mark as ever. didn't correct their mistakes.
Forhad vs Sharif Big let down.
KM vs Mushfiq. Yes we gained here alot.
Sakib = Sakib no gain.

Bowling:
Hope and pray Mash don't see anymore visions. If no visions then we gained else no comments.
Taposh vs Rasel will definitely have more no balls and wides big let down. More balls to hit for Zim.
Hope and pray Shahadat don't get hot headed after a catch is dropped.
Razzak, Rafiq vs Razzak, rafiq no gain.
Sharif is better bowler than Forhad. Gained.

Fielding:
Mushfiq vs KM. loss.
bashar as a fielder more loss.
Farhad's absent will be felt.

Captaincy:
may be team will gel who knows. We lost the 1st match last time under Bashar.

Opponents:
Did they improve than last time? May be.

Overall looks like net loss unless they play Tamim. That boy can change the tide in seconds.

My intention was to scare fans and lower their expectations. Then when we win 4-0 that would make all of us feel better. Too high expectation can lead us towards dissapointment. Even when we win a close one, we would think why didn't we kill them? I tell you cricket is a funny game. Australia knows that now because of Cardiff.

are bhai (tigers eye),

SN had that big unbeaten 100 in a dead rubber match which skews the stats. our players were out of form yes.

and if we had 30 more runs, provided the extra runs were distributed properly, we would have won the series 4-1. supposing all 30 runs were distributed to ODI 5, which we won anyways, or ODI 4 which we still would have lost, it would make no difference.

but think about this, suppose 3rd ODI was teh decider, and mash let taylor hit a 4. we would have won 3-2.

i am afraid you're letting your pessimism get the best of you. this team is hungrier to win after the debacle of 2006. like Mike said "i am successful because i failed"

if we won the series 3-2 last time, then perhaps we would be in for some shocks.

I dont know why Utseya thinks that he can still beat Bangladesh.... They have been beaten pretty bad in recent times by Bangladesh. And he knows that their win of 3-2 was a pure luck and fluke ( IT IS A BIG FLUKE! Period). They cant even win against our A teams in recent times. Isnt this series pretty much the last shot Zimbabwe has t0 prove that they are not like Canada/Netherlands? Its true that Bangladesh has nothing to gain from this series other than, maybe improve the stats ( God,, I relish this day when I can say this...

BD should get over with Zimbos quick and focus on a bigger target. Looks like they are too caught up with Zimbos. Focus on the big fish SL or India. What they eat? How they swim and how to catch them eat them from now. No balls ... No glories in the WC.
