India ODI tour of Bangladesh, 2014

The series has officially been confirmed. Three ODIs to be held at SBNS on 15, 17 and 19 June after which India fly out to England for the summer. Dhoni and Virat to sit out with Rohit or Ashwin most likely to captain India. Good chance for us to get our first ever series win v India.

Relieved to see that it's confirmed. Very important that we prove ourselves against a big 3 team. Without Dhoni and Kohli playing we really should be winning at least 1 game. That being said, it'll be a very tough tour and we'll have to play really well to even win 1 game this tour

without Dhoni & Koheli they will struggle a bit specially if we bat first and score 280+ which is not impossible against the Ind bowling, the last two ODIs against Ind we managed to score 280 & chased down 295 something.
Best way to beat them is make them chase 280+ & keep building pressure.
Although the current bowling looks good with Bhuvaneshwar, Shami, Ashwin & Jadeja but somehow we Bangladeshis score well against Ind.

I reckon our players will play the series with reckless, T20 abandon. Their best chance to get noticed by the IPL Syndicate and make some moneh! That said, Indians aren't too fond of edges and fluke runs.
