A lot of video games come with a configuration tool (find it in the program group for the game) that is seperate from the game. It usually runs automatically the first time you run a game, but after that you have to run it manually.

it was online only demo... i thought the graphics were crappy maybe campaign mode is better.

Just completed Portal 2 single player. Game of the Year for sure. Portal 1 was great, but this is like 10x better. Loved the humor in the game... some hilarious dialogue, especially from the "moron" bot. Tons of unexpected twists and turns (not as linear as the first). The new game elements were awesome (particularly the gels). The puzzles were clever and just the right amount of difficulty for casual gamers. There's a part of the game in the middle where the whole thing goes retro and feels a bit BioShock-ish. I think the playtime is about twice as long as the original? The ending was spectacular and satisfying (although, the final boss fight is a joke... doubt anyone will need more than 2 times to beat it). Don't forget to watch the scene after the credits...

Also, if you played Portal 1 a while back and can't remember the story, I suggest playing it again. It will definitely help Portal 2 experience. It took me a while to remember what the "female" bot was on about.

I'm playing assasins creed 2 now, I know it's a bit old but never got around to finishing it, had played AC1 and absolutely loved it and AC 2 is even better, I'm in love with this game, seriously if anyone hasn't played this game yet, you're missing out on one of the best games in the history of gaming.

Will play Assasins Creed Brotherhood once I'm finished with AC2

Finished LA Noire last week. Great game. Superb voice acting and facial animation - probably the most life-like I've seen. Story was decent but felt somewhat let down by the ending. Beat it under 20 hours I think so it's not a long game. Although you can replay missings different to get slightly different outcomes, but I'm not sure if there are multiple endings.

In a way it kinda made me appreciate Heavy Rain even more which had multiple playable characters - each and every one of which could die and have very different endings - not to mention its unique gameplay style. Whereas LA Noire plays more like GTA, but with detective/interrogation components, which really highlights the excellent voice acting and facial animations.

I think if Heavy Rain had better voice actors like LA Noire, it would have been quite hard to beat. That said, both are brilliant games in their own rights and must play if you haven't already.

Nintendo revealed the new controller today at E3...

Definitely some cool stuff there, but I'm a bit disappointed that it can't do anything independent of the console.

Goru I know you are here lurking somewhere. Please help me man. You know the *** Creed I was talking about? After installing I see white flash two times and then complete blackout but with sounds only. Last time you said sth. about resolution, but mine's at highest 32bit with 1024 something something.

Please help. I am broke, no money no gas and i am stuck at home. So need to pass time.. Thanks.

The game itself is probably trying to use a resolution (different from your desktop resolution) that your monitor does not support. I think I suggested you run the configuration manager for the game (usually seperate from the game itself) and reset settings to defaults.

Otherwise, if you bought the game, why not call Ubisoft support?
