This is good to see former academy captain back in action. In BCL he have started well. He need to continue his form. But the main problem is he is a middle order. At this moment we have in form middle order so he will have to try hard and perform hard to be selected for national team. He will be tested through A teams and BCBXI. To nurture this type players now we need to arrange A team tours regularly.
Marshal should have specific target. He can target the #3. He have some ability to bat up the order. As far as I remember, when he was the academy captain,in few occasions he bated up the order at SA in short format.

until then the squad that played against WI continue

Impressive form from Marshall. He topped the charts in NCL and he's topping the charts in BCL. Mehrab on a decent run too 2nd in NCL and 3rd in BCL.

Marshall Ayub is playing impressively. This guy is coming near to the national side. Mehrab is also playing so good.

Hopefully he will get enough chances in BPL. CTG kings look strong now, enough to challenge DG:

Imran Nazir
Bopara
Ayub
Tendo
Riad
Bravo
Naeem/Rubel
Oram
Nurul
Rubel
Enamul
Huge depth in batting, batsman till no. 9!!

His form was dismissal last three-four years. Good to see he is finally showing some maturity. However, I also think he should not be rushed into the national team yet.

I think it's a great thing to see that we have good depth now in our middle order. As we saw in the last series, Shakib got injured and Mominul stepped up pretty well. The more the players outside the national team performs, the more competition there is for spots in the national team.

speaking of which, we need to organize more A team tours....once a year is not enough in a cricket calender year.

Good to see him in great touch in the BCL as well. The league has been relatively more competitive and less farcical than the joke known as the NCL. Ayub is proving to be simply too good for our pitiful domestic setup and needs extensive Academy and A Team exposure. If the schedule doesn't permit such exposure, I won't mind him getting a go at the highest level. Whether he can survive there is a totally different story.

Bravo Marshall. First Bangladeshi to score 2 double century in same FC season.

200* now...massive p'ship with Mehrab dariwal. 2 leading scorers in NCL and also in BCL.

Probably the first guy to score two doubles in a single domestic season. Wonder what our single biggest FC partnership is...this is nearing the 400 mark.

Marshall came in at 4...I've always believed that 4 and 3 are interchangeble positions. I think 2 double tons is hard to ignore...won't be surprised to see him make the SL squad.

Magic number is 1012 and the record belongs to national selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu. Best way to remind selector that he is ready for national duty is by breaking his record.

Rokibul batted at #3 and got out for a duck. So realistically Ayub came in at #3
