England are overrated. The best team in the tournament, but they are in their own conditions. Also, their bowling is too one-dimensional, and nothing special. It's their batting line-up which is daunting. Pretty much all can bat. I would love to have someone like Rashid Khan in the ranks. He is one of the few that can tear this England batting line-up apart. To beat England, you must score well over 330 if you bat first. So, it is best to win the toss, and put them to bat first, and try to restrict them below 300 if possible.

I hope more BD supporters can get tickets, don't want to get drowned out by Indian fans. I reckon the neutrals will fancy us though.

Looks like it could be the case of some people bought the tickets beforehand. Many buy to resell too. I'm hoping it would be good amount of BD fans, many have been inspired since 2015 WC to go support when they come UK. Now it's semi, so people would want to go at any cost!

Bowling has Adil and Moeen. Got a leggie and offie, I think that's more than enough variety. Pacers are key on these wickets. England team is well balanced. Tbh, I can't see anyone stopping England at oval where the bounce is true, comes on to the bat well! Recent history shows England have scored a lot of runs at oval. Unless the wicket for the final is on the slower side or has spinn, this CT is Englands to lose.

Yah, I just heard on TV that 20 pound tickets selling 10 times the price at 200, 250 pounds. Didn't say about 1000 pounds but looks like the tickets are all sold out and whatever is on re-sale will be very very high priced. Not sure if that's legal though, ICC needs to do something about this. Again, shows the draw and popularity of a Bd vs India match these days I guess!

We need to play fearless and not worry about the opponent's flag. Only what they are trying to do with the bat or ball. If we bat first, 320+ is a must. If we are chasing, we have to keep them at 290 or thereabouts.

India is the stronger team but we can win this if we all bring our A-game. Shabbir and Soumya need to fire and Fizz needs to get amongst the wickets.

No ICC does not need to do anything about this. I believe in supply and demand. cricket is not at level of football that ticket restrictions need be in place. If it was say another two team encounter, the demand woulnd't be there....

if anything I think the official ticket prices were underpriced but i guess they wanted a full house just in case it is let's say NZ vs SA encounter...

i think 200 to 250 pounds are ok price in secondary market... 1000 pounds I am not too sure.

I'm thinking why bd fans didn't buy the tickets at the right moment when bd won against nz ? They had 1 days to jump on... also I believe , it will be enough bd fans whom already bought the tickets ... definitely some of them bought it long ago ..$20 pounds it's nothing to them when it's live cricket to watch .... doesn't matters whom playing what ... so I believe both semifinals tickets r sold , because desi fans r involved..... well we will get England and Pakistan fan support atleast...because England do wants bd at the final .

this is the key to win against this India team... Sabbir and soumya.... if these two gets going at the top after Tamim has set a platform.... I think we have a chance... without these two... our older guys though currently in form of their life are simply not gonna cut it...

an unrestricted sabbir soumya partnarship for 20 to 25 overs can bring runs in 150 to 200 strike rate vicinity...

This match totally depending on who can hold the nerve better... bd players getting 4 days rest and one match to play ... then 2 month off....thinking about that , all the players should gave everything they got ... it's not Australia or England we r playing against ... we r playing against Asian team , the better one ... we can play pace and spin all day long .... just self believe needed... which our players has at this moment.... inshallah my heart saying, we beat India play final .....rain came 4 hours to go match .. and got a point... this must be a reason... maybe gift from Allah directly. ...bd on song June 18h

One interesting fact: Whenever Bangladesh share points with Australia, they reach the knockout stage of the tournament. Example: 2015 WC and 2017 CT.

Why is this important? Chances are always the same?

I do not think chances are always the same as its a known fact that Kohli's India is very VERY good at chasing any total.

If we win the toss then we should field first (and should play four pace bowlers obviously).

That's what cultrue thought them. Bangali/desi culture. Parents provide till they old enough. It's eveywhere, more backhome. Nothing new. Blame the culture not the teens living off it.

Anyway. I don't think you know UK born Bdeshis too well. Read articles of the latest happenings, they are doing pretty well in grades/gcse's, jobs/careers then say in the 90s and early 00s. And have out done a certain ethnicity.Need source?
