Default BD vs Zimbabwe :next year

If Masri was bowling at the WACA, surely Hayden would not have even crossed 50 ?

I think if this is the trend in the current Aus-Zim, clearly we as BD fans will be more and more relishing the thought of playing the Zims in our own backyard. Isn't that where we are playing them, or is it an away series ?

I would like to see Bashar continue his cht-gong success with centuries agains both the POMs and the Zims their. If Bashar clicks again, hopefully he will get those 249 runs (I think) to reach 2000 at the end of the Eng-BD series.

But then Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting would score test hundreds.

Sumon needs 298 runs to get 1000 by year end. Aiming for his 2000 is realistic and a good incentive for him to perform for his team which also helps his team along the way.
Also 259 for his 2000 mark. Unfortunately Zimbabwe matches are next year and away for that matter. More and more it is clear that we need to beat Zim.

Yeah, one thing is for sure, if we can't beat Zimbabwe - even a single test match in a 2 match test series, then I will stop supporting Sujon - the captain and will vouch for a new captain - even if that has to be Sumon.

FW - I think that is a reasonable demand !

Also, looks like the Zims didn't do too poorly, minus the Hayden runs !

I fear Bangladesh may not do well against Zimbabwe at all. They will hardened with their latest tour in Aus and even become stronger an unit, enough to demolish any hopes by us.
We all know there is a large gap between the standards of these two sides.
So if we stay competitive, will it mean Sujon stays on?
I believe Bangladesh is in a dilemma about it's captain.
In the past BCB had no problem sacking a captain whenever it felt like, I wonder what has changed.
I myself don't fancy with the idea of Sujon be in any BD national team, let alone be the captain.
I doubt if Sujon will be fired after the England series.

after 2 days, zimbabwe are certainly faring much worse than BD in Australia. In fact, they are getting butchered. Unless their batting stands up, and I have no reason to believe it will, they will be embarrassed further.

We should be optimitstic.

If we continue our improvement curve, my expectation will be to win the series against Zim.
