Bangladesh is going to play all their matches at SBNS where dew is not a factor so far.
Thus, playing three seamers not a good idea IMHO. Also, Taskin is not in the WCT20 squad!

And against WI and Australia, our strategy should be an all out spinning attack as both teams aren't comfortable playing spin at our soils. Specially Austraia who have no clue about our spinners.

except australia generally do a lot of research on opponents and there is plenty of footage to see of razzak and shakib, shakib i think will still do fine but razzak might find it tough. gazi, well he's not in form but he's also inexperien ced so could get a bit flustered and overwhelmed if he's getting a beat down.

A batting heavy line up in case we have to chase a high target:

1)) Shamsur Rahman (replacing Tamim)
2)))) Anamul Haque (he's doing well)
3)) Mominul Haque (replacing Reza)
4))))) Shakib Al Hasan (he's doing really well, can bowl)
5))) Mushfiqur Rahim (he's doing well)
6)) Sabbir Rahman (powerful hitter, can bowl)
7) Nasir Hossain (hope he does well for once, can bowl)
8))) Ziaur Rahman (slog, can bowl)
9)) Mahmudullah Riyad (bowling all rounder)
10)))) Mashrafe Mortaza (bowler)
11)) Sohag Gazi (bowler)

) Indicates personal rating out of 5.

Razzak should not be in the playing squad in this T20 WC anyway. He must be rested due to his below per form.

pretty good line-up, similar to mine but except you've got riyad instead of tamim and zia instead of al amin (which are the 2 differences i'd make depending on conditions, form and opponent).

Knowing how crap we're likely to perform anyway. I'd like to give as much exposure to the young blood as possible before the World Cup. Mominul, Shamsur and Anamul are our hope for the future as top order batsmen.

yeah good call, the other thing is, shamsur is one player we have who can hit from ball one effectively, thought he would have been in the line-up more often.

09. Mash
10. Ryad
11. Gazi

Two SLA ( Shak and Mominul), Two specialist off-spinner (Ryad and Gazi), One leg spinner
Enough variation there for Mushy

My wishlist... I know this team will never play though
quoting my ideal 11 here also
The basic logic is we need guys who can find the gaps in the powerplay and guys who can clear the fence at the death.
To me Mominul is a class player and will be able to find the boundaries in the first 6 overs playing good cricketing shots. Guys like Shakib, Shabbir, Nasir, Zia can hit them big and are better off coming during the middle and later stages in the game.

Since it's Banglar Hulk and not Taskin, I'd put him in at number 8 and move everyone below down a place in my XI keeping in mind the dew factor. Yes, he will bowl 4 overs. If we opt to go with just 2 seamers if dew isn't a factor, I'd put Gazi in for Al-Amin or Koushik if he gets injured again. Gazi can slog too and maybe sitting out has helped him get his bearings back in order. I don't mind demoting BhaBha down to number 11 after BH, Koushik, and Gazi/Al-Amin!

Best possible 11 for WI game in terms of batting order:
1. Tamim
2. Anamul
3. Momin
4. Shakib
5. Mushi
6. Shabbir
7. Zia
8. Mash
9. MUllah
10. Gazi
11. Al-Amin

Nasir and Shamsur have outside chance to get into this 11 though. If Tamim fails Shamsur can replace him in next match. However, I know BD team will pick up Nasir.

We are the only team in the world cricket who likes to play with it’s under-perform players. I am so frustrated that how come we are playing these underperform players game after game. There is cricketing term called “Break” which helps the players to work hard and regain the form. But we always go by name rather than performance. This is the sad story of our cricket.

At the same time, I also admit that our bench is not strong enough- not many players are ready to play for the international games. Plus, BCB are confused with domestic bullies such as F. Reza, Dollar Mahmud, Tusher Imran, S. Shuvo et al.

At this stage we need a good chief selector, bowling coach and intense coaching to our captain and vice-captain (by the way do we have a vice captain atm??)

This is would be my line up next match.

Tamim
Anamul
Shamsur/Mominul
Mushy
Shakib
Mominul/Shamsur
Shabbir
Riyad
Gazi
Mortaza
Al Amin
May be he was still thinking about how to improve his modeling career, not his team's cause. It does not matter as long as he has a few runs. He seemed not to care any more. He was just physically there, but rest was some where else. He didn't even talk to the tail enders. He used to do that a lot. Unfortunately those are past days.

In my starting 11, I don't have certain genius. This team is now better off without any captain. Stupidity is the biggest threat for our team, it is no longer bad umpiring!

Bangladesh (probable): 1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Anamul Haque, 3 Shamsur Rahman, 4 Shakib Al Hasan, 5 Mushfiqur Rahim (capt & wk), 6 Nasir Hossain, 7 Mahmudullah, 8 Ziaur Rahman, 9 Sohag Gazi, 10 Abdur Razzak, 11 Al-Amin Hossain

Not happy with Crickinfo's lineup.
I'd replace Nasir with Sabbir.

cant beat em with batting, cant beat em with pace.... so beat em with spin! Shak-Gaz-Riyad-Raj. Spin em out boys! even if these 4 bowlers bowl their 70%... the so called T20 champions wont have a chance.

but sigh 70%.... too much to ask? maybe, possibly, probably

Tamim
Anamul
Sabbir (Sabbir can bowl and bamboozle WI otherwise I would have picked Shamsur)
Shakib
Mushy
Zia
Riyad (Not Forhad Reza because Ullah can cause some problem with this spin)
Gazi
Mash
Al-amin (This pillock is expensive but Rubel is injured)
Razzaq (I hate this guys but we don't have any one else)

why drop sabbir? might not have got going with the bat bat been useful with the ball. i'd still keep nasir but i'd drop razzak for sure and maybe al amin (depending on how much batting you want).
