Bangla is very creative language infused with subtle allusions as well as illusions.

Inspired by this and this, I was curious what would be YOUR favorite Bangla word? You can only choose one.

Of all the contenders such as তীর্থের কাক, কাকতলিয়, হ য ব র ল, কিংকর্তব্যবিমুড় (সিক?) , I have to say my favorite from purely poetic p.o.v is " বৌ-কথা-কউ"।

Runner up (due to obscurity):
শঙ্খচক্রগদাপদ্মধ রী (I like how four, simple words are combined alluding to mythology).

আমার অবশ্য তেমন একটা বাংলা কথা বলার সুযোগ হয় না। যা বলি তা সাধারণতঃ ফোনে। আমি যে শব্দটা সবচেয়ে বেশি ব্যবহার করি তা হল- Hello, কেমন আছেন? এবং উত্তর আসে- ভালো।

সুতরাং- "কেমন আছেন?" এবং "ভালো" শব্দ দুটোই আমার কাছে খুব প্রিয়।
