Default 20/20 World Cup

I hope there would be a 20/20 World Cup of around 16 teams. Would like to see how the ODI teams play in 20/20. Would they have the same ranking like in ODI. Could Australia be ranking 1st in 20/20.

no. there should not be anything like this,

insteed there should 20/20 champions league.
clubs from around the world should take part..

later this year ecb are Organising a 20/20 club champship.
i think clubs from england, pakistan, southafrica and a mcc club are taking part.

20/20 were invented by england cricket board, so they have the rights to have a say on any major 20/20 league.

The lesser the overs, the higher any team has a chance to do good. Imgagine a One1 cup, each team bowls an over and bats an over. I bet even Uganda has a shot to win that world cup.

Whats the point! To me, any game below 50 overs is too less and not a competition any more, its a farse.

I agree.

Personally, I like the idea of a 1 ball cup. Whoever gets the most runs off that one ball win.

If it is a draw, too bad.

Ashraf might hit a century against Australia, England, India, or any other team in 20/20 if he does not get out. It would be wonderful to watch.
